East London police are searching for four men who attacked a 71-year-old man on his farm on the city's outskirts on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Captain Nkhosikho Mzuku, said that the elderly man was rushed to hospital with stab wounds following the incident.
He said four men accosted him on Bluewater farm, later fleeing in his Isuzu bakkie while also taking cellphones and a pellet gun.
“It is alleged that a 71-year-old man was attacked at knife point by four suspects in a Bluewater farm,” Mzuku said.
Police urge anyone with information about the incident to contact the investigating officer, Constable Akhona Waphi on 043 851 1540.
