EL taxi boss gunned down

Police in Mdantsane in East London are investigating the murder of a well-known taxi boss in a shooting in Unit 9 on Tuesday evening.

Police spokesperson Captain Nkosikho Mzuku, said the 62-year-old man was shot several times on his upper body.

He said the man was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.

Mzuku said the motive for the shooting is unknown and no arrests have been made.
