Murder accused Alutha Pasile in the East London High Court

AlgoaFM News

The man accused of the brutal murder of Fort Hare University law student, Nosicelo Mtebeni, will go on trial towards the end of the month.

Twenty-five-year-old Alutha Pasile, made another brief appearance in the East London High Court on Tuesday, where he kept his face hidden under his buff.

Judge Michelle Benneke postponed the matter to the 29th when the trial will get underway.

Pasile allegedly killed the 23-year old Mtebeni before dismembering her body.

In August, the victim's torso was found stuffed in a suitcase in Quigney on the corners of Fleet Street and Fitzpatrick Road.

Pasile was arrested at his home nearby where black bags with more body parts, including Mtebeni's head and hands, were discovered.

The gruesome discovery was made when a police patrol was alerted by a motorist.
