East London police are searching for the gunmen who mowed down a 27-year-old man in the parking lot of an apartment block.
Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Thembinkosi Kinana, said the shooting happened in the parking lot of Own Haven Flats in Belgravia on Wednesday night.
He said a police patrol responded after hearing the shots and found the deceased who has sustained several gunshot wounds.
Kinana said a security guard told police that the gunmen, who were armed with rifles, fled in a silver Suzuki vehicle with no number plates.
Anyone who may have information on the shooting is asked to contact their nearest police station as soon as possible.
