EL child dies tragically

East London police are investigating a case of culpable homicide, following the death of a 10-year-old child.

Police spokesperson, Captain Stephen Marais, says it is alleged that two children had jumped onto the back of a truck in Westbank last night.

He says one of the children fell off and landed under the vehicle and died instantly.

Marais says it's possible that the driver did not hear the children as he drove off.
