An East London businessman was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash after he was threatened at gunpoint while sitting in his car.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli says the man had just removed cash from one of his businesses and was sitting inside his car at a filling station in Abbotsford when the two unknown men approached him from different sides of the vehicle.
He says the suspects fled in a silver Toyota RAV and fired shots at the businessman who returned fire.
Nobody was injured during the robbery and the suspects are still at large.
