Eighteen drunk drivers arrested at one EC roadblock

Police in the Eastern Cape have issued a stern warning to people who choose to drink and drive that they will have a zero tolerance for this behaviour.
This follows the arrest of 18 people in Butterworth who were caught drinking and driving.
Police Spokesperson Captain Jackson Manatha says they were on their way back from the beach when they were pulled over.
The motorists were detained for four hours before they were released on bail of R2 000 each.
