At least 8 people were killed in 4-car pile up on the N6, about 25km from Jamestown towards Queenstown on Sunday night.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Tsepo Machaya says an unknown number of people were injured in the accident, which involved a Toyota Quantum, Isuzu LDV, Mahindra LDV and a Volvo Sedan.
"The collision happened about 25km from Jamestown towards Queenstown on the N6 where 4 vehicles collided. I can confirm that 8 people have died in the accident, and there is a rumour that a 9th died on the way to the hospital. The road has been re-opened" Machaya said.
