A Braille document for visually impaired persons, containing awareness information regarding the Ebola disease, was launched by the Eden District Municipality.
The educational document was launched under the National theme: celebrating 20 years of the rights of persons with disabilities in our democracy.
The Braille document contains information regarding the symptoms, incubation period and prevention measures to educate the broader public about the virus.
With the current Ebola outbreak in African countries, the Eden District Municipality recently put prevention measures in place to be as ready as possible, should there be an outbreak of the dreaded virus in the area.
