The Eastern Cape Development Corperation's Director Phamella Bosman has lodged an application to have her reinstated as the Chairperson of the Audit Risk and Compliance Committee of the ECDC.
Bosman wants the resolution reviewed and set aside after she was allegedly heard on tape having a conversation with the Corperation's Executive Director Babini Melitafa after a Committee meeting.
Bosman and Melitafa were allegedly plotting to get her romantic partner contracts at the ECDC.
According to court documents in the possession of AlgoaFM News, its alleged that Bosman tried to use her influence to advise her partner on how to get his applications approved.
It is further alleged that she breached her fiduciary duty as a Director, however Bosman says the Governance and Nominations Committee wasn't authorised to act in the way it did by removing her from her duties.
The matter will be heard in the East London High Court on the 7th of next month.
