EC woman killed in hit and run accident

Butterworth police are investigating after a woman was killed in a hit and run accident.

The woman's body was found on Monday night on the N2 near Mambhendeni Village near the town.

A spokesperson said that her identity is not known.

Police are appealing to anyone who may be looking for a female relative to contact them at  047 401 1124.
