Police in Willowvale in the Eastern Cape are investigating a case of murder after a 56 year old woman was shot dead in front of her husband on Tuesday.Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says two men allegedly kicked down the door of the couple's home in Nquba Location on Tuesday evening.
He says they shot the woman and stole her cellphone before fleeing.
The husband was not hurt.Manatha says police are appealing to the community for information that would lead to an arrest.
