EC wanted man arrested

An Eastern Cape man wanted for the murder of a soldier and learner in separate incidents is behind bars.

Police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, said that the 25-year-old was arrested on Tuesday by members of East London POP's Unit together with Ngcobo detectives.

She said police seized a 9mm pistol and ammunition as well as magazine for a R5 rifle.

Mdleleni said that the same suspect is also implicated in another murder case at Butterworth.

She says he will appear in court in Ngcobo soon.
