A 21-year-old man accused of killing a teenager at his house party this weekend is expected to make his first appearance in the Centane Magistrates Court on Monday.
A police spokesperson Captain Khaya Tonjeni says the suspect had a party at his home in Gobe Village on Friday when an argument broke out between him and a 16-year-old.
He says it is alleged that the man drew his firearm, fatally wounding the teenager.
The child sustained a gunshot wound on his upper body and died on the scene.
Captain Tonjeni says the incident happened at 3 am on Saturday.
The suspect was arrested and will be charged with murder.
