EC police investigate murder after burnt body found in vehicle

June 5 (ANA) – East London police in the Eastern Cape are investigating a case of murder after the discovery of a body in the boot of a burnt vehicle.

Police spokesperson, Captain Mluleki Mbi, said a charred body of a man in his thirties was found inside a burnt vehicle near the Fort Jackson quarry on Monday.

“The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation,” said Mbi.

No arrests have been made.
