A 51-year-old Eastern Cape woman is in custody for allegedly killing her boyfriend following a dispute over a 13th cheque.
Sergeant Majola Nkohli, said the woman was arrested on Wednesday.
He says the accused confronted the 38-year-old Akhona Sondlo in Mhlaba Street in Bongweni Location where a brief argument ensued.
Nkohli said the woman apparently became angry and allegedly stabbed Sondlo once in the upper body and he died on the scene.
He says the woman is due to appear in the Somerset East Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of murder.
