EC man in court for killing his girlfriend

A 23 year old man, who handed himself over to the police, will appear in the Dutywa Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police Captain Jackson Manatha says the man allegedly killed his 23 year old girlfriend after accusing her of having an affair.

Manatha says the couple were walking home on Wednesday when the argument broke out. 

The suspect allegedly drew his knife and stabbed his girlfriend in the upper body.

The victim managed to run to a nearby homestead where she collapsed and died.
