An elderly man reportedly from the Eastern Cape died in an accident on the Golden Highway just outside of Vanderbijlpark last night.
Spokesperson for ER24 Derrick Banks says the man and his family were travelling in two cars as they were relocating to the Vaal Triangle.
The man who reportedly suffered from Alzheimer's was driving behind his family when he got lost.
The family notified the police and later found his car in a ditch.
He died at the scene.
