Police in Kirkwood are investigating a case of murder after the body of a 45-year-old woman was found on a farm in the district.
Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the alarm was raised by the woman's employer when she did not arrive for work on Monday.
A search was conducted and the body of 45-year-old Regina Pram, of Moses Mabida Township in Kirkwood, was found in an orchard .
She had sustained multiple head injuries.
No arrests have been made but police are following up several leads.
