Eastern Cape police are investigating a murder case following the discovery of the charred corpse of a man in Berlin, near King Williams Town.
Colonel Nkosikho Mzuku, says the man's body was found on Thursday afternoon in bushes near the town.
He says the remains were badly burnt and also decomposed.
"We would like to ask people with missing relatives to come forward" he said
Police want to identify the body and due to the state of decomposition they do not want to speculate on an age of the victim.
