EC child found hanging from toilet door

Eastern Cape police say details surrounding the brutal murder of a 4-year-old girl in Komani, formerly Queenstown, remains under investigation.

Police spokesperson, Captain Namhla Mdleleni, says the child was found hanging from the door of a toilet at her home in Lessyton on Saturday.

She says the girl also had scratch marks on her body.

Mdleleni says while the child's parents discovered her further details surrounding the incident remain sketchy.

No arrests have been made and police have asked anybody with information to come forward.
