Eastern Cape Transport MEC presents final Public Transport Master Plan

Eastern Cape Transport MEC, Thandiswa Marawu, presented on Tuesday the final Provincial Public Transport Master Plan to stakeholders in East London.
She says the plan aims to set guidelines for the development of integrated public transport services throughout the Province.
Marawu says in so doing, the implementation of the Master Plan will improve the quality of life of Eastern Cape residents, support economic growth of the region and improve access to community services and facilities.
She says the focus of the Master Plan is on inter-town and long distance public transport, and provides a strategy for the provision of public transport services in the Eastern Cape.
