At least three people have been killed on Eastern Cape roads in two separate accidents.

Provincial Traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell says two men died on impact on the R-72 between Port Alfred and Kenton-on-Sea when a Toyota Cressida Station wagon collided with a Truck on Friday evening.

He says both victims were from the Toyota.

In the second accident on Friday evening, one person was killed when a Toyota Venture and a Bakkie collided on the R-61 between Ngcobo and Cofimvaba.

Bramwell says one person was seriously injured and another sustained minor injuries.

The causes of these accidents are not known, and police are investigating.
