Eastern Cape premier tables her policy speech in Bhisho legislature

East Cape premier Noxolo Kiviet says the provincial government will implement the recently approved Policy that will effectively prohibit government employees from trading with Government.
The premier was delivering her policy speech in Bhisho today as Zona Mpendulo reports.

Kiviet called upon members of parliament and communities to report any trade activities by civil servants.
She also announced that her office has budgeted R204.8m to ensure that there is sufficient capacity to effectively deliver on its mandate to oversee all the provincial departments.
This will be done through improving human resource management in departments including strengthening performance management Executive and Senior Management levels.
meanwhile Policy and Governance is allocated R83.5m which will be used to improve integrated planning, monitoring and the coordination of service delivery across government
The office of the premier is allocated R404.5m for the 2013/14 financial year.
