Eastern Cape police say they're working around the clock to apprehend sexual offenders.
This after five people were sentenced last week to between 10 and 23 years in jail for sexual offences that included rape, attempted rape and sexual assault.
Provincial police spokesperson, major Ernest Sigobe, says the conviction of the five came after intensive investigations.
He urged members of the public to report any criminal incidents to their nearest police stations timeously so that the law can take its course.
