Eastern Cape man shot dead at initiation school

 A man was shot dead at an initiation school near Bityi in the Eastern Cape early on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson, Lt-Col Mzukisi Fatyela says an unknown man entered the school during the night and shot and killed a 22-year-old circumcision traditional surgeon.

He says a 21-year-old man, who was also responsible for the initiates, was wounded.

Fatyela says the motive for the attack is unclear.

No arrests have been made and police are investigating.
