Joubertina police have arrested a 42-year-old man, following a tip-off which led to the discovery of more than 18 kilogrammes of dagga.
Members from the Crime Prevention unit confiscated the dagga at a house in Rooibrug on Monday.
The suspect is due to appear in the Joubertina Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
While the police were still busy at the Rooibrug house, they received more information which led them to a river in the area, where more dagga to the value of R19 850 was found in plastic containers.
No arrests have yet been made in the second incident.
