A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to three years in jail, following an accident that claimed the life of former Miss PE, Bianca Anne Harper-Agherdien.
Police spokesperson, Captain Mali Govender, says Maxwell Lebetse was sentenced in the Paterson Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
He was earlier convicted on a charge of culpable homicide.
Harper-Agherdien died in hospital following a horrific accident on the N-2 between Grahamstown and Port Elizabeth in 2014.
