Dramatic near drowning caught on camera

 A holidaymaker from Paarl turned out to be the unlikely hero in Hartenbos on Wednesday when two learners from a school in Upington were swept out to sea.

The school principal first rushed in fully clothed to try and help the struggling Grade 7 girls.

The drama was captured by a Mossel Bay couple walking on the beach.
