Despatch detectives are urgently seeking the public's assistance in tracing a teenager who was reported missing on Tuesday this week.
Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says 18-year-old Almonre Antovian Ashley Roman was dropped off by a relative at the Pick 'n Pay in Despatch on Monday morning.
She says video footage shows him jumping into a white VW Kombi but he never returned home.
On the day of his disappearance, he was dressed in a cream polo neck jersey, and a black jacket with blue jeans.
Roman is 1.6 m tall and weighs about 50kg.
