Deputy president Kgalama Motlanthe is expected to launch the Home of the Legends Exhibition at the Port Elizabeth International Airport on Friday.
The exhibition forms part of a campaign by the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency to promote the province as the home of legends.
It is being spearheaded by the office of the premier, Noxolo Kiviet, who is also expected to attend Friday's event along with other dignitaries, including Nelson Mandela Bay mayor, Benson Fihla.
The campaign is a series of billboards that will be positioned at provincial gateways, including the three airports and provincial entry points including the Garden Route.
