Nelson Mandela Bay deputy mayor, Nancy Sihlwayi, will lead a municipal delegation to Sweden later in August.
She will be accompanied by local members of the Partnership Management Committee, comprising several councillors, including DA caucus leader Leon de Villiers.
Five project leaders from the Municipality will also join them.
The Metro says the visit to Sweden will explore several projects that include inner-city development, transportation, sustainable energy and climate change.
In January the City of Goteburg and Nelson Mandela Bay signed an extension to the partnership contract.
