Department of education in EC to hold public hearings

Eastern Cape education department MEC Mandla Makupula will kick start a series of public hearings on Thursday on a national bill that seeks to advance the core business of the Department of Education.
The first of the hearings take place in Mthatha.
The Bhisho Department of Education says the Bill seeks to emphasise the consolidation of state resources to advance the department's core business which is teaching and learning in an efficient manner.
