The Department of Basic Education officially handed over the Nqantosi Senior Primary School in Mount Frere on Friday.
The school created 521 jobs to members of the community over a period of 18 months. The school boasts with 7 classrooms, including Grade R and can cater for 250 learners.
The school has an ablution block, library, nutrition centre, vegetable garden, play area and science lab.
The school also has 24 water tanks on the premises to make use of rainwater.
