Denosa decries suspension of EC nurses

Five nurses at King Williams Town's Grey Hospital have been placed on precautionary suspension.

According to the Department, this is to allow an investigation into allegations of neglect of a patient with Covid19 who had died.

Health sector trade union, Denosa has meanwhile slammed the decision, saying their suspension was nothing more than a witch-hunt.

The union has warned of legal action if the nurses were not reinstated.

The union claims to have all the necessary and hard evidence to show that the suspension of the nurses was unwarranted and abuse of power.
