East London police are searching for two armed men who robbed a delivery driver in Beacon Bay on Monday.
Spokesperson Captain Hazel Mqala says the 26-year-old driver was waiting for a green light at an intersection at Cedar Square in Beacon Bay when an armed suspect opened the passenger door of his Nissan NP 200.
She says when the driver was ordered to get into the passenger seat of the van a second suspect entered the vehicle.
Captain Mqala says they drove to Edge Street where they stopped.
She says they opened the back of the van and stole eight boxes containing several cell phones.
The suspects fled in a vehicle fitted with a false number plate.
Nobody was injured during the robbery.
