Port Elizabeth police say the body of a woman found in the bushes in Kwadwesi last week could be that of the missing 30 year old Azola Wendy Njokweni.
She was last seen a month ago on her way to work at the offices of the Department of Education in Sidwell.
Police Spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the fully clothed body was found decapitated in the bushes last Thursday.
He says personal belongings of Njokweni was found next to the body.
Beetge says the body will be sent to forensics.
He says the victim's head has still not been found.
