The death toll following Thursday morning's accident on the N6 has risen to three.
This after two men died from their injuries in hospital.
One person died at the scene when four vehicles were involved in an accident near Queenstown.
According to Eastern Cape traffic authorities, two of the vehicles collided head-on on the N6 early Thursday morning approximately 10km from Queenstown towards Cathcart.
Provincial Traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell, said that accident occurred at around 6.25 am.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
