Death crash bus driver to be charged with culpable homicide

A Intercape bus driver has been arrested following a horror bus accident on the N-12 between Oudtshoorn and George.
Thirty-three people were admitted to hospital following the crash in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Authorities say 10 people have already been discharged.
The bus was traveling from Cape Town to Queenstown with 49 passengers and three crew, including the driver.
Western Cape police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the 25-year-old driver will appear in court on Friday.
"So far we can confirmed that 11 people have died in this accident. Subequent to the investigation and discussing with the senior state prosecutor we've arrested the 25-year-old driver," said Pojie.
He said the man will appear in court on "multiple charges of culpable homicide" in the Oudtshoorn magistrate's court.
