An 81-year-old woman, who was charged with possessing eight dagga plants, has pleaded guilty in the Willowvale Magistrate's Court in the Eastern Cape.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha says Nowezile Mncoko was arrested on Wednesday for being in possession of dagga plants in Mente Village.
He says police were patrolling the area when they noticed dagga plants in her garden.
Eight plants to the value of two thousand five hundred rand were uprooted.
Mncoko was cautioned by the court and discharged.
