The Democratic Alliance in the Eastern Cape has laid charged against teachers union Sadtu and the trade union Nehawu.
This follows the disruption of a march on Friday led by DA parliamentary leader, Lindiwe Mazibuko, to the Bhisho Education Department's head office in Zwelitsha.
DA MPL, Edmund van Vuuren, says they were unable to present a memorandum to authorities because of the disruption caused by Sadtu and Nehawu members.
He says his party will continue to pressure the Bhisho Education Department to ensure that there is a teacher in every classroom.
