Cyclist attacked and robbed in Walmer, PE

Port Elizabeth police are searching for a suspect who attacked yet another cyclist in Walmer on Saturday morning.

Spokesperson, Capt. Johan Rheeder says the cyclist, 57-year-old Graham Mouton was attacked at around 5 am on the corner of 9th Avenue and Victoria drive in Walmer.

He says his bicycle and cell phone were taken during the attack.

Rheeder says the injured Mouton was taken to a PE hospital for medical treatment.

Police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the nearest police station.
