Police in East London are investigating a case of business robbery and murder after a customer was shot and killed this morning in Berea.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana says Cambridge police are searching for four armed men who entered a local spaza shop in Pearce Street shortly before 9 am.
He says the men entered the shop and held the staff at gunpoint before firing a shot that killed an unknown 48-year-old man.
Brigadier Kinana says the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The name of the victim is not yet known.
