Cradock woman kicked to death in heated argument

A 39-year old Cradock man has been arrested for murder, following the death of a woman during what police said was a heated argument.

Captain Stefanie Smith says the man allegedly kicked his girlfriend in the head during the incident in Michausdal on Wednesday.

She died shortly afterwards at the scene.

Smith says the suspect was arrested and detained and will appear in court soon. 

The name of the deceased cannot be released, as her next of kin still needs to be notified of her death.
