Covid numbers are climbing in the Karoo.
This is according to a report from the Department of Health on the amount of current active cases within the Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality.
There are currently 157 active cases as at 28 June with the highest infections in Graaff Reinet.
The breakdown of Active Cases per town is as follows:
Graaff- Reinet: 110
Jansenville: 16
Nieu-Bethesda: 18
Aberdeen: 11
Rietbron: 1
Willowmore: 1
Residents are urged to comply with regulations, in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.
