St Francis Bay police are hunting for suspects who stormed into a house on a smallholding on Saturday and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, said the house robbery occurred on Saturday night when the complainant was confronted by two gunmen at the kitchen door.
One man fired a shot in the air and forced the woman back in the house where she, her husband and tenant were tied up with electric cables.
The men stole cell phones and jewellery before fleeing the Oyster Bay road property.
The victims managed to free themselves before phoning the police.
