Couple found murdered in their Garden Route home

An elderly couple from Great Brak River was found murdered in their house in Sandhoogte Road on Saturday.

Police in Great Brak were still following up on leads late on Saturday evening and no arrests have been made.

The names of the victims cannot yet be released until their next of kin have been informed.

Preliminary reports indicate that the woman was stabbed with a knife and her husband assaulted with a heavy object.
