The Nelson Mandela Bay Council will be asked to approve a visit to Korea by a delegation led by Mayor Ben Fihla, to explore the possibility of securing an investment in a ship repair yard in the Coega Industrial Development Zone.
A report to Council from Corporate Services says the delegation will visit the Hyundai Ship Building Yard that has indicated its interest in considering such an investment in the Coega IDZ.
It adds that while there, an intermediary would arrange for the delegation to visit other potential Korean investors.
