Cosatu in the Eastern Cape is expecting a massive turn-out for its one-day strike against e-tolling and labour brokers.
Marches will be held in Port Elizabeth, East London, Queenstown, Mthatha, Lusikisiki and Kokstad this morning.
Cosatu provincial spokesperson Mandla Gayi, says they will hand over memorandums to government officials in the various centres.
"a memorandum will be handed over to a representative of provinsial and national government in the form of the office of the premier of the province also the department of labour. The memorandum is calling for the banning of labour brokers and the other for the prevention of the e-tolling system" Gayi said
Schooling will also be disrupted today as members of teachers union Sadtu are expected to join the industrial action.
