The Congress of the People in the Eastern Cape says national government should take over the administration of the Departments of Health and Education.
Cope MPL, Mbulelo Ntenjwa, was commenting on Tuesday's tabling of a R1.2b adjustment budget by Finance MEC, Pumulo Masualle.
The lion's share of the budget went to the two embattled departments of Health and Education.
Ntenjwa says Masualle did what was possible under the circumstances but pumping more money into Health and Education is not the answer.
